STEP 1. DO THE PRE-TEST

The aim of the Pre-Test is to establish your existing knowledge of vacuum-assisted delivery and identify topics that may need revision prior to the hands-on workshop. The Pre-Test questionnaire is comprised of 10 questions each of 5 parts. You will need approximately 30 minutes to complete the Pre-Test. All results are anonymous.

Pre-reading material is available from Clinician’s Resources, in particular the resources Essential Pre-reading for Masterclass in VAD and the Handout - Prerequisites and Technique.

To do the Pre-Test click on the link provided to you in your Workshop Start Email. The Workshop Start Email is sent to you at the beginning of a workshop. For help see FAQ I did not receive my Workshop Start email.

Next

STEP 2. READING & REVISION

When you have submitted the Pre-Test you may continue with Self-Paced Revision targeting any problem areas in preparation for the hands on workshop. Reading material is available from the Clinician's Resources page.

You will be well-advised to visit and attempt the Sample Workshop Revision Questions that can be accessed at the bottom of the Clinician’s Resources page, particularly before submitting the Post test.

STEP 3. HANDS-ON WORKSHOP

Attend the hands-on workshop session to combine your knowledge with practical training. The hands-on sessions focus on technical aspects required for successful vacuum delivery. Practical skills are demonstrated and participants train on specifically designed manikins in different clinical scenarios and complexity.

Participants are required to have read, as a minimum, the Clinician's Resources Essential Pre-reading for Masterclass in VAD and the Handout - Prerequisites and Technique prior to attending the practical session.

STEP 4. DO THE POST-TEST

Do the Post test to conclude the workshop program and to obtain your Certificate of Completion. When you submit the post test, your Certificate will be available for downloading and printing. Before submitting the post test, however, you would be well-advised to review the Sample Workshop Revision Questions that can be accessed at the bottom of the Clinician’s Resources page.

The Reading and Revision material, and the Sample Workshop Revision Questions for the Masterclass in VAD will remain available from Clinician's Resources even after closure the workshop.
